I, like many teens my age, love playing video games. I enjoy spending countless hours beating up bosses, gaining experience, building up points in either gold, rupees, or straight out dollars, leveling up, dying and coming back for revenge, picking up enemy guns and blasting heads with em, beating up genetically altered ninjas to save a scared scientist to gain info on how to beat up a giant walking tank, mastering how throw eggs on enemies on stilts while lava is pouring around me, shooting down enemy advanced fighter planes with stealth technology, teaching my over sized turtle how to shoot pressurized water from the twin cannons coming out of its shell, making a run for it as city cops chase me down the streets full of whores because i stole a car while i drive-by some enemy gangsters on the side walk... well you get the point; i love my games. It would be no question that i have developed an admiration for the characters involved in these games. One of my favorites, possibly my most favorite video game character of all time, has to be the overall wearing hero, green shirted warrior, tall capped savior named Luigi. Now, I would like to push aside the fact that i share the name with this selfless being, and would like to point out that our name has almost nothing to do with the fact that i think he is so great. Okay, i will admit that his title has inspired me enough to find out that our name means "famed warrior" (if you do not believe, look it up), but that is beyond my intension here. like Luigi because of his rise from being a minor underdog, to becoming a prime member of the Nintendo family, showing up in self starred games like "Luigi's Mansion"- (pretty good game) which is only the beginning of his enterprise. This has come to make me believe that Nintendo will eventually have him star on his own in a future game, which should be pretty good considering how fantastic Luigi is. Many people would disagree with Luigi's performance compared to his shorter brother Mario. I definitely understand that Mario has been the major success in Nintendo, and that he should uphold quite a high amount of respect in the world of gaming. But, one cannot forget that it would not be a "Super Mario Brothers" without the "brother".
